This week we are going to be working on books. Novels, church books, children's books, school books, music books, etc. *Excluding notebooks*
Week 6 Challenge: Books
Sort through all of your books this week, including the kids books. Discard any that are destroyed, ripped and damaged beyond repair. Donate/Sell any that are no longer read or that you have duplicates of. Of course, keep your favorites and organize them nicely on your shelves.
Straighten, dust, and organize the bookshelves if you have one. We don't have many books at all so all of them fit on a little shelf in our hall closet.
When you do your children's books, have them be involved too. Just like the toys, have them choose some to donate so others kids can enjoy them when they no longer do.
Another fun thing that you can do is host a book swap with some of your friends and their kids. It's such a great way to change things up and get some new reading material! Invite your friends gather up the books that they've read and are ready to pass on, and then have them bring them over and have a book swap party. Make some snacks and enjoy getting together and having something new to read. It saves you money and it's a great excuse to get together with your friends and if you want have a play day with your kids. *You may not believe it from the lack of books that I have but I used to be a huge reader and loved doing book swaps about 10 years ago! Photography is my passion and it takes up my time now <3 *Also please don't judge me by my reading material lol! What can I say...
Thank you for stopping by and following along! Hopefully you're making some great progress cleaning, delcluttering, and organizing you home. Have a sweet and wonderful day!
I'd love to get the boys a book shelve but then I thought about it and just another thing for Easton to climb, um no thanks lol
