Photography Sneak Peek ~ Hazel Grace 3 Months

Tuesday, July 26, 2016

I can hardly believe that our little Hazel Grace is 3 months old already. Time really does go by so fast. For now I am enjoying every minute that I get to be with her. It's a joy watching her grow and learn new things, I just wish it didn't happen so fast.

She is the light of my life and brings me such happiness. Auntie life = Happy life. She is so much fun and she always gives me such big smiles when she sees me. The other day I even got her to giggle! Cutest. Thing. EVER. I'm glad that she's still too young to care that I'm always in her face and kissing her chubby cheeks, haha!

Hazel is just the sweetest little thing and our whole family is in love with her. We all do pretty good taking turns holding her, but it's not easy sharing such a doll, haha. Good thing her mama and daddy are good to us and we see her often.

I had so much fun today with this photo shoot and I just LOVE these pictures. Here are a few of my favorites...
Be still my heart <3 Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have a sweet & wonderful day.

Photography Sneak Peek ~ Rhett Lewis 6 Weeks

Saturday, July 23, 2016

A couple months ago I shot Kirby & Stacia's maternity photos, click here to see those, and now they have an adorable 6 weeks old baby boy named Rhett. He is just as sweet and cute as the come. His big blue eyes and sweet little smiles just made my day.

I love that we got such a variety and once he went to sleep he was quite the little trooper and let us pose him as much as we wanted to. I had lots of help from his mama, grandma, and Uncle Janson, so that made my job easy.

These photos turned out so cute and I LOVE the props that Stacia wanted to incorporate. Of course you'll recognize the cute little elephant and the books we used in the maternity session. But the one I love the most is that guitar. It was Kirby's dad's, and I know how special it was to him. Some of my greatest memories of my Uncle Jeff are of him singing and playing that guitar <3 And I love that we could incorporate it into his grandsons photos.

Thank you so so much for stopping by, I hope you're enjoying all these adorable babies as much as I am <3 Have a sweet and wonderful day.

Homeless // Life Update

Wednesday, July 20, 2016

This is just a little life update...because I am constantly getting asked these days :)

Ok, so we're not living on the streets, but we are officially homeless.

Alan and I had been talking awhile about selling our house. We always just said we'd do it someday, when the time was right. Well after we had a big get together one weekend, and there was no room in our house for everyone to sit down, we decided the time was right and the day had come.

The next day we called a real estate agent and see if it was a good time to sell and what all needed to happen before the house could go on the market. It took us about 10 days to get the paperwork in order, photos taken, and get the house all ready. Thankfully there was nothing major we had to do, just some decluttering, cleaning, a little landscaping, and some touch up painting.

We knew the market was hot, it's a sellers market, and homes in our price range were selling like crazy, but we really didn't expect it to all happen so quickly.

We put our house on the market Thursday, June 9th. We accepted a full price offer, not even 24 hours later, on Thursday June 10th. We started packing and moving our stuff into storage in the following weeks. Then on Friday July 15th we signed closing papers and officially sold our house.

It's been a crazy, whirlwind of a month. Thank goodness for my mom and dad and for Alan's family, they helped us pack and move.

Everything went as smooth as possible and there weren't any hiccups along the way. Offer, earnest money, and letter of loan approval, check. Inspection, check. Appraisal, check. Final walk through, check. Closing documents, check. Funded and recorded, check. I gotta say, selling a house was way easier than buying one. Hopefully when the time comes for us to buy, everything will go just as smoothly.

I wish I could tell you that we were going to go on some amazing, exotic vacation with our earnings, but we're not. We are paying off debt and saving for a down payment. Yay for being an adult and being responsible and all that fun stuff, haha!

For now we are living with Dale, Alan's dad. We have our own room and plenty of space. I'm thankful that we all get along so well. I know it's not all that common for "in-laws & out-laws" to get along, so for that, I'm grateful that we are tight knit family.

We may not have our own home yet, but for now I keep repeating this quote, that I have written on a chalkboard in our room...Home is wherever I'm with you. Everything happens for a reason, and I know that this will all work out when it's supposed to and we will have a place to call our own again soon.
Thanks for stopping by and I will keep you all updated :) Have a sweet & wonderful day.

Photography Sneak Peek ~ Newborn Elijah Cody

Tuesday, July 19, 2016

Anyone who knows this family are officially over the moon, excited, in love, thankful, grateful (insert any wonderful adjective here...) for this little guy, and his mama and daddy.

My cousin Levi and his wife Brett we blessed with this little darling, Elijah Cody, on June 30th at 12:26am. He weighed 8 lbs 8 oz and was 20 1/4 inches long. The perfect little bundle of joy.

Words really cannot describe the love we all have for this baby boy. He is a Rainbow Baby, and will forever have an angel looking over him. Bless you little one, I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you. You are loved more than you will ever know <3

I was so happy to be able to take some newborn photos of Eli. Even though he refused to sleep but just a minute or two at a time, we still got a few keepers, I guess he just wanted to show off his eyes.

Photography Sneak Peek ~ Victoria Ann 9 Months

Monday, July 18, 2016

Good morning everyone, my camera and I have been very busy the last week, and there's still more sneak peeks to come!

I really enjoy photography as a hobby, and in no way consider myself a "professional, but I am grateful for the people who keep calling me asking me to take their photos. Thank you!

A couple days ago I took some photos of one of my favorite baby girls, Victoria. She is 9 months old and is such a sweetheart! She danced and wiggled and was so much fun to photograph. I've been taking her photos since she was 3 months old, and her big beautiful blue eyes always melt my heart. I always enjoy spending time with her and her mama.

I just love being able to take my baby photography outdoors, you just can't beat that natural light. I took these at one of my favorite Boise parks. The weather was perfect and I am so happy with how they turned out.

Here are a few of my favorites...
And if you're wondering...her eyes and lashes are all natural, no photoshop needed <3 and yes I'm totally jealous ;)

Thank you so much for stopping by I appreciate each and everyone of you. I hope you have a sweet & wonderful day!

Photography Sneak Peek ~ Shippy Family

Thursday, July 14, 2016

I just love this little family so much. Hannah is my cousin, and if you've been following me for awhile, you will recognize her sweet daughter Corra, who just turned 9 months old.

We've been trying to get their family pictures taken for a couple months, and it finally worked out and I couldn't be happier with the results. Corra turned 9 months old the day after these were taken so we snapped a few of just her too.

There were so many great ones, it was hard for me to narrow them down. Here are a few of my favorites...
Thank you for stopping by! Have a sweet & wonderful day :)
